Welcome!
I am spending this summer in Nome, Alaska, banding songbirds. Above is an arctic warbler. We are collecting samples from them to be tested for bird flu.
Above is a bluethroat. He is gorgeous. He spends the winter in Asia.
Here, Dave DeSante holds a yellow wagtail, another species that we are really interested in.

Why hello Melissa!! I saw your comment on my blog.. haha Your probably still in Nome and leaving soon. Your blog needs some love and attention. okay well it is sure different being home, I constantly think about Nome and all you guys. It is really wierd just leaving after spending so much time together... Take Care!!
